Nobody knows what happened to our planet, nobody knows its true name, or who built the planet-sized, vast mechanical shell upon its surface. Only the "Apotheoized Operators", humans enhanced by mysterious bioengineering technology excavated from the shell, can survive the cold and desolate surface world. And now, one young man "blessed" by this power must traverse this wasteland, to deliver his most important cargo to one of the last bastions of humanity.
