Chapter 02: Culture Shock

Cal’s just starting out at the Yersinia Academy, but he’s got a lot to learn aside from what’s in his schoolbooks. His Carrier classmates are loud, outspoken, brutally honest, and have absolutely zero concept of personal space. In other words, everything that Cal’s not! It doesn’t help that DJ, Cal’s roommate, isn’t as perfect as everyone says he is. How do you keep secrets in a society where people don’t lie?
