Pep Comic Issue 200 includes the story “Archie in Backs A Loser”. Betty's excited to enter her Siamese cat Sonya in the annual cat show — until she learns Veronica has entered her own $500 Russian Blue purely to beat her, just like always. Archie volunteers to drive Betty and Sonya to the show, then blurts out the one thing he forgot to mention: he's allergic to cats. With Archie sneezing before they've even left, will Betty finally get her chance to beat Veronica at something — or will Archie ruin it first?
