PEP Comic #208

Pep Comic Issue 208 includes the story “Archie in Safety Worst!”. Reggie brags about jaywalking straight across the street while Archie insists on doing things the safe way — crossing at the corner, on the green. Reggie scoffs that "corners are for squares" and darts out mid-block anyway, sending a car screeching to a stop as he goes flying over its hood. Will Reggie's reckless shortcut cost him more than just a scraped knee? Other stories in this issue include “Archie in The Worker”, “Li'l Jinx in Hands Up!”, “Betty and Veronica in Cheating Meeting”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
