PEP Comic #119

Pep Comic Issue 119 includes the story “Archie in Arch For Art's Sake”. Veronica’s birthday is tomorrow, and she’s convinced Archie hasn’t gotten her a thing—after all, he’s been avoiding her all week. But Betty and Jughead know the real reason and tell her: Archie has been secretly meeting with an artist to have a portrait made as her gift. It sounds romantic… until Veronica finds out who the artist is, and then she absolutely blows her stack! Other stories in this issue include “Reggie in Lucky Heel”, “Katy Keene in A Winter Wedding”, “Wilbur in A Winter Wonderland”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
