PEP Comic #217

Pep Comic Issue 217 includes the story “Archie in Snow Use”. With their chauffeur off for the day and taxis refusing to brave the snow, Veronica panics over how her father will possibly make his flight in time. Archie eagerly offers up his rickety old jalopy, promising it'll get through anything the storm throws at it, and Veronica sees it as Archie's perfect chance to finally win her father over. With Mr. Lodge left with no better options, will letting Archie drive turn out to be a rescue, or a disaster? Other stories in this issue include “Archie and the Gang in Sundae Best”, “Li'l Jinx in You Can Bank On It!”, “Archie in The Joiners”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
