PEP Comic #202

Pep Comic Issue 201 includes the story “Archie in Racing with the Goon”. Archie's big mouth has landed him in hot water — he's accidentally scored a date with Veronica for the very same night he's already taking Betty out, and he has no idea how to be in two places at once. Scrambling for a fix, he and Jughead cook up a scheme involving Jughead's souped-up hot rod, Laverne, betting it can somehow pull off the impossible. Can Archie really dine with two girls at once and get away with it? Other stories in this issue include “Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica in Fascinating Women”, “Li'l Jinx in A Little Squirt!”, “Archie in Engage The Enemy”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
