Pep Comic Issue 177 includes the story “Archie in The Third Man”. Archie and Reggie settle their rivalry over Veronica the old-fashioned way — arm wrestling — but when Reggie tries to claim his "prize," Veronica shuts him down hard and storms off to find her own date. Now both boys are left standing in the hallway, each blaming the other for losing her. But who is the mystery "third man" Veronica has in mind — and can Archie and Reggie do anything to stop her?
