PEP Comic #195

Pep Comic Issue 195 includes the story “Archie in The Thing”. Archie's a nervous wreck strolling through the park with Veronica, jumping at shadows and certain he's forgotten something important — all while Reggie lurks behind a nearby tree, silently vowing that any "clod" trespassing on his territory will pay for it. Before Archie can figure out what's nagging at him, a voice comes tearing up the path insisting his parents are frantic because he's late for a forgotten tuba lesson, sending Archie sprinting off in a full-blown panic and leaving Veronica behind. Was that really an urgent errand — or has Reggie just cleared the one obstacle standing between him and Veronica? Other stories in this issue include “Archie's Pal Jughead in Rebound“, “Li'l Jinx in Allow Me!”, “Archie in A Dancing And A Prancing”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
