Pep Comic Issue 166 includes the story “Archie in The Bad Penny”. Mr. Lodge takes Veronica to the movies—driving 20 miles out of Riverdale just to avoid Archie—only to find him already at the theater! Determined not to be outwitted again, Mr. Lodge plans an even bigger escape with a trip to New Orleans the following weekend. But will his plan finally keep Archie out of his hair… or is Archie impossible to shake?
