Pep Comic Issue 146 includes the story “Archie in Class Will Tell”. Archie receives an engraved invitation to visit Veronica’s house and assumes it must be a special occasion, so he gets all dressed up. But when he arrives, he quickly discovers the invitation is just part of a spat between Veronica and Betty. Archie jumps into the middle, determined to play peacemaker—but can he really smooth things over, or will he only make the tension worse? Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
