Issue 437
PEP Comic #139
Pep Comic Issue 139 includes the story “If You Knew Archie Like I Know Archie”. They say our view of ourselves is often distorted—but Archie insists his self-image is perfectly accurate. According to him, it’s everyone else who has it wrong. But is Archie really seeing himself clearly, or is he more mistaken than he thinks? Other stories in this issue include “Katy Keene in At the Canival“, “Li'l Jinx in Checkers!”, and more. Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
