Pep Comic Issue 137 includes the story “Archie in Go For Broke”. It’s the day of the country club dance, but Archie has already given away his allowance—again—so he can’t afford to take Veronica. Heartbroken, Veronica runs home in tears, and when Mr. Lodge learns what’s wrong, he decides she deserves better. Determined to prove his point, he comes up with a plan to teach her a lesson. But will his scheme backfire right into his own face?
