Pep Comic Issue 126 includes the story “Archie in Snug as a Bug”. Archie is hanging out with Jughead and Reggie when he discovers a cool gold-colored bug. It’s dead, but Archie wants to save it until he can figure out what kind it is. Jughead hands him a ring box to keep it in, and Archie heads straight to Veronica’s house to show her. But when Veronica spots that ring box… do you think she’ll get the wrong idea?
