Pep Comic Issue 124 includes the story “Archie in Skull Practice!”. Betty and Veronica need male models for their sculpture project, and while Archie and Reggie want no part of it, Jughead happily volunteers. Once the masterpiece is revealed, Archie and Reggie can’t resist poking fun at both Jughead and his sculpted likeness. But when all is said and done, who will get the last laugh? Originally running from 1940 all the way into the '80s, PEP was the platform for Archie's first appearance in 1941 and introduced many of the Riverdale citizens that the world still follows over 80 years later.
