After winning his match, the fighter returns to base, where a new sponsor arrives and introduces herself as his mother. As the team gets to work and discusses important matters, the fighter remains unusually hesitant about something. Sensing his unease, the medic takes notice and decides to have a heart-to-heart with him after training, hoping to lift his spirits and help him regain his confidence.
