Thomas Simmons was working on an experimental suit his father built, when an explosion burned him alive. It was caused by Alvin Severnya, who used it to mask the murder of Thomas’ wife Fujiko as well as the death of several A.D.S. soldiers. However, Thomas survived thanks to the suit he was working on and set out to stop Severnya from destroying even more lives. He got help from two strangers, Nightstar and Shin. Together they now fight for all those who can’t fight on their own.
