Chapter #1: The Boy From Nowhere

Kai has spent most of his life feeling like he belongs everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Born in New Youth but raised away from it, the seventeen-year-old now finds himself navigating life in Berryhaven alongside his grandmother, Victoria, and a family carrying more history than he realizes. For Kai, these are supposed to be the years where he figures out who he is, who he can trust, and what kind of person he wants to become. But even an ordinary day can be the beginning of something much bigger. As familiar faces, new relationships, and questions about his past begin surrounding him, Kai takes his first steps into a story that started long before he was born. Everybody comes from somewhere. The harder question is where they truly belong.
