The Black Marauders

On the day thirteen-year-old Monark is crowned heir to Jaygarh, the Black Marauders descend upon his kingdom. King Virat rallies his outnumbered defenders, but betrayal threatens to undo everything the fort’s mighty walls have protected. Entrusted with the prince’s life, the loyal warrior Durgesh leads Monark through a secret tunnel—and into a world neither could have imagined. Beneath two blazing suns, unfamiliar dangers await. A kingdom under siege. A prince far from home. A sworn protector who refuses to let him fall. The Black Marauders is the second issue of Monark, an adventure of courage, betrayal, and survival.
