Arsons more of a physical person so getting rejected on that level "confirmed" her insecurities...plus she most def wouldnt let him close, she was just pushing boundaries and trying to scare him off while reassuring herself that he's lying. Tate was literally in a doomed if you do and doomed if you dont situation. Arson is currently in lots of emotional turmoil, so she's incredibly complex.
