I’m very new to the world of comics, but I just wanted to say how much I adore the art and style of this particular series. The visual pacing and the compositions are so creative and bring out far more narrative depth than the writing. Sometimes I would rather there be less words because the they are uneeded. I have some background in graphic design, and the arrangement of the panels to fit different scenes and worlds is just so sublime and satisfying. Make the grid, break the grid. It’s a visual delight. The writing and overall story is very meh (lack focus, consistency, and substance), but the illustrations seem like they are a labor of love and are really what make it special for me.
