Volume 4: Ch 8-9 Chapter 8: Tao takes Arturo back to his place where they catch up on their lives and why Tao has returned from New York. After a bit of competitive gaming, they find themselves hot and heavy on the couch, but Tao pumps the breaks due to not wanting to get carried away too quickly with someone he's interested in. Meanwhile, Angels Esme and Cairo cross the Portal in search of Efrain and Elias, and tracking down Kari they reveal to her something that she has to try and process in minutes. Somewhere hidden, Efrain and Elias face devastation and destruction at the hands of someone they love. Chapter 9: Arturo receives a call that Matteo's been arrested. After bailing him out, Arturo makes an unexpected phone call. Meanwhile Efrain and Elias comfort one another as Felix wakes in his room is relieved that their Light is gone. Kari, Esme, and Cairo try to track down Efrain and Elias.
