Layton Lightspeed

In the wake of a historically destructive plaque, the galaxies population has been cut in half. Hoping to rebuild society, a sickly aging scientist and his spunky daughter, attempt to perfect a hyper cloning technique that catches the eye of a fanatical alien general whose species has been decimated by the plague and its so called cure. Desperate to save his own life, Layton Lightspeed and his daughter Laxy, must stay one step ahead of the General Viceroy Fe and his son Filius Fe who would set the rest of the galaxy on fire to steal the Lightspeed tech and save their dying species. And, oh yeah, the 84-year-old Dr. Lightspeed gets his memory downloaded in a 9-year-old clone version of himself.
