Gail Cousteau is a 20-ish year old girl who recently lost her father, a legendary fisherman located in a fictionalized version of Kittery, Maine. In order to claim her vast inheritance, Gail must lower herself to being a minimum-wage stooge of her father's surviving business partner, Murray Jensen, and working with the cheery, naive, and uncannily strong Tyrone Van Orman.
