Actually, yeah, it's very important. If your hut faces the open sea, especially, because you want that ocean breeze coming off the water and coming inside. It's going to not only help cool you off, but surprisingly the breeze also helps nourish you, because it carries moisture, which your body will certainly need. So, by all means, knock some holes into that thing!
