Kuro is a quiet street basketball player who performs well only when he’s alone. Under pressure, he hesitates and fails. To cope, he draws a dark, faceless monster in his sketchbook, something that reflects the part of himself he can’t control. One night, after getting attacked on an empty court, that drawing becomes real. Black ink begins to merge with his body, forming a living manifestation of his emotions. The monster acts on his anger and fear, nearly hurting someone before Kuro forces it to stop. He doesn’t understand it, and worse, he can’t fully control it. A man named Ren appears and reveals the truth: Kuro has awakened an ability that turns emotion into physical form. It’s not unique. His older brother had the same power and lost control. Now Kuro is stuck with two problems: he’s weak under pressure, and his power gets stronger when he loses control. If he can’t fix that, the monster won’t just help him win games. It will hurt people. The story follows Kuro trying to master both basketball and his own mind, while the line between him and the “monster” starts to disappear.
