In episode 10 Eric and Liz have a heart-to-heart on the ride home. She reassures him that she's not trying to control him and only wants the best for him. Their bond is strengthened after the chat. Seven hours later, Helen wakes up in bed with several injuries. She hears someone banging on the door and tries to answer it. But before she can, she passes out again.
