Darcy Hart comes from a repressed, dysfunctional family, despite their wealth and high social standing. The Harts project a class of a stiff upper lip but Darcy finds comfort in the electric party scene of 1980s London. Soon he finds the dark side of living the drugs, sex, and rock n' roll lifestyle. He escapes the expectations of his parents only to find himself prisoner to the expectations of his lovers.
George is so sloppy. they were doing fine keeping the party out of the house and then George had to pop the bubble because he isn't capable of control. you know Darcy wasn't afraid to spill the beans because he deals with that crap all the time. it's night and day between George and Darcy. they only cared for Georges future but worried about darcy ruining their image. George certainly doesn't act like an adult. an adult would have kept that shit out of the house at least. I don't know if I agree with George about Darcy lying. it would have been convenient but the fallout would have probably been worse later down the road. he did end the wolrd by telling the truth.
