Darcy Hart comes from a repressed, dysfunctional family, despite their wealth and high social standing. The Harts project a class of a stiff upper lip but Darcy finds comfort in the electric party scene of 1980s London. Soon he finds the dark side of living the drugs, sex, and rock n' roll lifestyle. He escapes the expectations of his parents only to find himself prisoner to the expectations of his lovers.
so just because Darcy missed a party George interrogates him? he isn't entitled to that information. especially asking so straight forward if he was gay. a poof? I'm not well versed in the lingo but I hope it wasn't a harsh way to ask him. it's good that Darcy opened up but it was very very unfortunate that he was forced out of the closet. outing someone like that is not only inherently aggressive but not a safe thing to do in that time. I feel bad for him.

he’s not a good boyfriend to Henry. I’m glad George wasn’t homophobic
