Darcy Hart comes from a repressed, dysfunctional family, despite their wealth and high social standing. The Harts project a class of a stiff upper lip but Darcy finds comfort in the electric party scene of 1980s London. Soon he finds the dark side of living the drugs, sex, and rock n' roll lifestyle. He escapes the expectations of his parents only to find himself prisoner to the expectations of his lovers.
wow! the lack of regard for Darcy's life is disgusting. I know they don't like him but to not care if he is even alive after you created him is heinous and evil. I hate his parents with each passing chapter. their lives mean nothing to me if that's how they feel about Darcy. it's no different than what they are doing.
it’s nice to see Georgie standing up to his parents for their treatment of his brother and their hypocrisy, even if the broken clock is right twice a day and sadly it will lead to Georgie’s death
