Darcy Hart comes from a repressed, dysfunctional family, despite their wealth and high social standing. The Harts project a class of a stiff upper lip but Darcy finds comfort in the electric party scene of 1980s London. Soon he finds the dark side of living the drugs, sex, and rock n' roll lifestyle. He escapes the expectations of his parents only to find himself prisoner to the expectations of his lovers.
it's so terrible that his parents are so cold. I can relate to be different and not fitting it. I understand what it's like to not know how to get into anyone's good graces. it's good that he has a brother to get along with but his brother doesn't really seem to get how much better he has it.
it’s so sad to see him hated for his autism. I got that feeling of not clicking with other people and people not liking me from everyone but my family, it would suck to feel that from my family

there are so many ways, having read Take All You Can, that this could've gone better for both twins
