Many years leading up to the present time of 3688, humanity went through a devastating World-Ending event; Set in motion by not only our own hubris, but a force of nature only found in legends and myths. A group of scientists and explorers from out of our galaxy discovered earth billions of years before our time. They loved it! So, using their treasure, they devised a plan to ensure life would flourish here indefinitely... However... They had inadvertently sealed the fate of humanity instead...
