Daern, Dugan’s mentor and closest friend, was a legendary Dwarven Adventurer and the wielder of a rare mystical weapon, the Mythril Hammer. While away on a transport mission, Daern is killed during a Raider attack. With nothing but The Foundling (Daern’s ship) and his training in mind, Dugan returns to the place that he was most familiar with in his youth, the only place where people that he would consider “family” reside.
