"Fanatical Choice" is a multilayered manga that will drag you into a whirlpool of perverse romance with yandere obsession, psychological horror, and comedy (sometimes black), seasoned with satire, grotesquery, and a hefty dose of cringe. If you don’t like long descriptions or are afraid of texts with lots of words, this is not for you. There’s a lot of text in the manga. Age rating 18+: there are no explicit sexual scenes, ecchi, or physical violence here, but psychological pressure and emotional rollercoasters are guaranteed. The ending remains open, leaving the reader with questions and goosebumps in hysterical laughter. Yulya Galushko is a girl with eccentric appearance and behavior, whose childhood was shattered by her parents’ divorce and a toxic atmosphere of hatred toward men. Her mother, a radical feminist, instilled in her that all men are traitors who see women only as objects for fleeting pleasures. Yulya, steeped in this ideology, grew up convinced that love doesn’t exist, until she entered university and met Misha Khodkins. Misha is a religious, humble guy who condemns lust and swears he will have only one girl for his entire life. “This is my absolute choice,” he says, unaware that these words will become the trigger for Yulya’s obsession. This is a story where absurdity and tension go hand in hand, and every plot twist leaves you wondering: should you laugh nervously, be afraid, or simply close the manga out of embarrassment.
