April 20, 2020. That was the year Verlas city faced a disaster where numerous citizens suffered seizures, some going missing, some being hospitalised, and others ending up dead. Since then, numerous citizens have died in a similar state as the victims of that day, commonly known as the 4/20 incident. Beatrix Belinay had been searching for her best friend Gilia ever since she went missing that day, only to find her dead. Still struggling with the grief, she soon learns that there’s more to the 4/20 incident than meets the eye. With newly awakened magic and her friends by her side, she ventures to learn the truth behind the incident, and find out why Gilia had to die.
