Release #1 - Deep-Fried Flags - Issue 1

Due to their impending graduation from college, the gay San Francisco color guard team, known as the Flags, takes a road trip to the Louisiana nationals in order to commemorate their last competition together. Unfortunately, their high hopes have a harsh comedown when they finish seventh out ten. Dejected, demoralized, and decidedly defeated, the Flags load up onto their rented school bus to start the long trek home. In the middle of the Texan desert, a journey that was intended to be celebratory sours quickly when, in the midst of an uplifting speech from their team captain, all four tires burst. This sends the bus careening headlong into a parked, older, four-door sedan. After finding a dead woman sitting in the passenger seat of the sedan, the Flags (naturally) decide to split up and search for help. They come across a dilapidated, abandoned traveling carnival a few miles from the road. They try to seek refuge amongst the ruined rides, but soon realize that someone else has already taken up residence. One-by-one, the Flags are picked off by a deranged Carny with a penchant for deep-frying his victims for dinner. A tongue-in-cheek struggle for survival ensues as the Flags learn that the Carny is not acting alone. Who will live? Who will die? Who will hook up?
