While I'm always down to try different cuisines I wouldn't want to eat what's Zyl's having. It looks a bit too "squiggly" for my taste.

Interesting worldbuilding with the empathy bit. After the goal of space travel is achieved they pretty much have to start over from zero again.

@Kerestina yeah, I like the idea of him calling Earth food poison but eating a squishy wriggling synthetic meat. Maybe to a wider audience it is more appealing? Idk.

But also yes, it's an explainer for what's coming in the next chapter....which is coming out in a few days.... :)
