Lucas Wilson, a young teenager who thought he had the strength to stand up to anyone, suffered a terrible
beating from a school bully and ended up in hospital.
For his safety, Lucas with his family moved to Blackpool
to start a new life; but on their arrival, an explosion of
light from a crashing meteor provides Lucas with powers to run as faster as the speed of light. With the help from his new found friends, Lucas employs his powers to gain the courage and stand up to the criminals of Blackpool; so no one will ever have to suffer the same fate as he did.
Dasher (a.k.a. Lucas Wilson) will soon learn that the explosive event called “The Shock” had given powers to more individuals too, who will use them to bring chaos to Blackpool, unless Dasher intervenes and stops them in their tracks. Thanks to his incredible speed, Blackpool will have a new guardian,
watching over them. Hopefully this will return the town back to its bright and colourful glory days full of fun and laughter from locals and tourists alike.
However, the real threat lurks below their feet, emerging from the sewers. Dasher must gather his friends and all his new found courage to fight this threat before it spreads and destroys not just Blackpool but infects the World.
