In chapter 8 of Dando of the West: before the chaos of Arizona and the rise of the outlaws, there was a story buried in the past. Years before the events of Dando of the West, a quiet and timid boy named Mushi Noichi was constantly tormented by ruthless bullies, like Yuma Kagurama. No matter how hard Mushi tried to avoid conflict, Yuma made him the target of endless humiliation. But everything changed on one day Aku Noichi stepped in. Unlike Mushi, Aku was fearless — a strategic fighter. Aku entered an outdoor boxing match against him. What began as a simple fight quickly became a brutal showdown between Yuma’s calculated aggression and Aku’s wild, unstoppable power. Against all odds, Aku defeated Yuma in front of the entire crowd, earning respect while giving Mushi the courage he never had before. But time separated the two. A few years later, Aku lives alone, far removed from his old life, until a mysterious letter arrives at his doorstep. The note is from Mushi Noichi, now living in Arizona for the Dando case. With rumors of outlaws, bounty hunters, and war spreading across the West, Aku sets out for Arizona — unaware that his arrival will drag him into a conflict far greater than a simple boxing match.
