Release #1 - The last day on the job

It’s a short story set in the Condemned universe, where war and desolation stain the far reaches of the kingdoms of Aurumia and Bellatrixia. The tale follows two border soldiers from the Gilded Sands guard —a golden city at the edge of the desert— who face a surprise attack during their patrol. Isolated, cut off from reinforcements, and burdened with the duty of warning their lord, they must choose between survival and fulfilling their oath. This short story expands the mythology of Aurumia, exploring sacrifice, the loneliness of duty, and the fragility of a hero when the end draws near.
