There, they discover that humanity has never truly been alone. For centuries, celestial guardians known as the Watchers secretly protected the balance between Heaven, Earth, and the Void, preparing for the day the BlackRain would return. As Kai struggles to control the lightning awakening inside him, Gabriel reveals that his growing power is tied to an ancient prophecy surrounding the Storm King and the coming war. Nyx, still haunted by the loss of her friends, begins embracing her role as a protector rather than a survivor, while Queen Nora wrestles with the guilt of her past decisions and the darkness slowly consuming her soul. Gabriel warns that Nora's pale appearance is no illness—it is the visible mark of a queen whose heart drifts closer to corruption, a curse that can still be reversed if she chooses redemption. Meanwhile, deep within the Storm Citadel, the Storm King watches every move through the BlackRain itself. Across the city, Dr. Voss continues his horrific experiments, transforming innocent civilians into terrifying Fallen creatures while unknowingly serving a force far older than himself.
