Blackline is a sci-fi superhero comic series about surveillance, institutional violence, and what happens when a human being becomes a flaw in reality itself. The story follows Mara Vey — a burned-out systems analyst trapped inside the machinery of Veyr Systems, a defense-tech corporation hiding illegal human experimentation beneath humanitarian branding. After surviving a catastrophic VECTOR DISPLACEMENT accident, Mara develops the ability to manipulate momentum, inertia, and directional force, turning her into something the company can no longer control. But Blackline is not a traditional hero story. Mara isn’t trying to save the world. She’s trying to survive the people who built her. As Veyr attempts to erase evidence of the Blackline Project, Mara uncovers a hidden network of experimentation involving kinetic-energy transfer, reality distortion, and human test subjects discarded in the name of technological advancement. Every answer pulls her deeper into a conspiracy that reaches beyond corporate espionage into something far stranger and more dangerous.
