The boy awakens during a forest massacre, when his mother sacrifices herself to save him from a cursed wolf—an early-stage predator created by a failed experiment known as a Wild Curse. Her death fractures his Level Core, instantly forcing him through multiple levels at once. The surge nearly kills him, but instead, he ascends. His power manifests as Voltage Curse—a rare energy type that converts emotion into destructive force. Fear becomes speed. Rage becomes lightning. Resolve becomes flight. As he levels up, the world responds. Other cursed beings sense the imbalance and activate their own Expansion Fields—localized realities where their curse dominates. When two expansions overlap, a phenomenon called an Expansion Clash occurs: space distorts, rules collide, and only the stronger system survives. Hunted by curse clans, corrupted hunters, and awakened humans who see him as a threat, the boy must keep leveling up—not to become stronger, but to stay alive. Each level unlocks new abilities, but also deepens the curse etched into his soul. If he reaches Level 10, he risks losing his humanity and becoming a living curse himself. The story follows his journey through battles, alliances, and expansion clashes as he searches for the truth behind curses, the system that governs levels, and whether power born from loss can ever be used to protect instead of destroy.
