This book was actually what convinced me to start reading comics and was the book I purchased. I think it was the controversy that resulted from it that finally convinced me. on my thoughts on the story itself, I think it was written beautifully, with amazing artwork. it shows a early version of this Batman very well, and a interesting reimagining of how he presumably developed his no kill rule. for the other two stories, I enjoyed as well. with all three stories showing how Bruce had developed into a true hero. I’m glad this book was made, and I hope that there will be more annuals made for the other absolute books.
