Arriving at Lekan's fortified military bunker, Lui and Lucy finally find a moment of safety and meet Dr. Powell, who reveals the chilling truth: the apocalypse was engineered by three rogue scientists who awakened the ancient vampire lord, Dracula. Knowing they need heavy firepower to strike the vampires' underground nest, the trio successfully raids a zombie-infested police precinct for explosives. However, their triumph turns to horror when they return to find the bunker destroyed and Dr. Powell dying amidst Lekan's slaughtered soldiers. Pushed over the edge by the devastating loss, a grieving Lekan swears to blow the enemy to hell, transforming from a disciplined soldier into a reckless avenger.
