Very fun fight to read, but it's still very inaccurate and one-sided. Even the best and most modern revolvers of the time could only shoot effectively out to about 100 yards, while the average scoped rifle could reach well beyond 800 yards and easily shoot through multiple people. Pickle and Leighton should both be dead.
