Inktober: Lounge

Free

This episode is a little trip down memory lane. Dree and Ricky are watching a movie based on The Last Train Out of Nowhere, the very first comic I ever posted. I created it over two years ago, so it’s special to revisit that story and share a small piece of where my comic journey began. Thanks for reading!

Inktober: Flimsy

Free

Can this old armchair handle one more person? A confident sit turns into a crash landing in this short comedy about a very flimsy chair.

Shade Corner: The End of One Era

Free with Gold

This is a bittersweet Shade Corner. With Inktober 2026 beginning, I wanted to share what’s coming next for Random Takes — but there’s also something important I need to talk about: the end of my time posting on Tapas. I’m sad about losing the progress I’ve made here, but I’m incredibly grateful for every view, like, subscriber, and person who gave Random Takes a chance. Change may be inevitable, but the comic isn’t stopping. Thank you, Tapas. ❤️ Now... onward to Plan B!

Magical Train: Part 2 — Through My Eyes

Free with Gold

Part 2 is finally here! I’m not going to lie, this was probably the hardest and most time-consuming Random Takes comic I’ve made so far. There were moments when it became stressful and I just wanted to be finished with it, but I told myself that no matter what, I needed to complete this story. This episode shows another side of Daya. She's usually one of the most joyful characters in Random Takes, but sometimes the person trying to make everyone else smile is dealing with things of their own.

Magical Train: Part 1 — The Ride Home

Free with Gold

Well, it’s time to try something different and make a series story! This time, I’m putting our joyful character Daya in the spotlight. But even someone as cheerful as Daya has more going on than you might think. Hope you enjoy Part 1!

Inktober: Ogre

Free

For Day 6’s prompt, “Ogre,” I wanted to have some fun with Alex and Daya dressing as Shrek and Fiona! 💚 This is my first comic entry for Inktober 2026, and it was fun imagining how they would react to their costumes. Thanks for reading and following along—there’s more coming this month! ✍️

Back to school

Free

Going back to school happens to all of us, but at least we usually have an amazing summer to talk about with our friends. However, when you have a terrible summer, it can feel like you're going from one hell straight into another. Not everyone comes back to school with happy memories or funny stories to share. Sometimes my stories don't have a happy ending, and that's okay.

Party Foul Part 3

Free

Finally, it's over. Got to say this was something that caused some stress because of my busy schedule, which cost me sleep, but worth it to finish it.

Inktober 2025

Free

This last piece means more than just the end of a challenge — it’s the story of my growth. Every drawing, every late night, and every tough moment built my consistency. Through my OC Alex, I learned that the real reward isn’t fame or perfection — it’s showing up and finishing what you started. I might not be the best, but I’m proud because I stayed true and kept going. Like Tony Robbins said, “Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.” This month, I felt successful — and grateful.

Firework Preparation: The List

Free

The Fourth of July celebration is getting closer, and everyone has a job to do. Daya and Dree head to the grocery store with one mission: buy everything on the list. Easy... right? For Daya, though, a simple shopping trip brings back memories of a mistake she's determined not to repeat.

Old Strings

Free

While cleaning his room, Jacob stumbles upon an old guitar hidden away in a box. What begins as a simple chore soon becomes a trip down memory lane, reminding him of the joy, dreams, and emotions he thought he had left behind.

Even in moments when you worry that someone might forget you, know that they will always remember the kindness you showed them. Your compassion leaves a lasting impact, inspiring hope and connection in ways that endure. Keep spreading that kindness; it truly makes a difference!

Music Help

Free

Sometimes the world feels gray, and we may feel down. However, there is always one thing we can count on to help us: music. Music is free, creative, and can often provide comfort during the times when we need it the most.
