Hi, all! A little introduction from us :)

We're a small self-funded independent team working on this Occult Detective series. The series was created in the wake of the first trailer for Matt Reeves' The Batman, and was majorly inspired by its tone and aesthetic. It was further inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as well as deep lore from certain classic gothic horror novels.

Furthermore, it originally spawned as backstory for a custom action figure the writer made, then it just kinda... grew from there lol Before he knew it, deep lore was written as well as backstories for other characters and some setting history.

It was further refined and later, co-written by a lover of horror movies and literature, and features interiors designed by an avid museum set designer.

Artist @witchkraftdinner was the first person who came to mind when it came to art. Known for their involvement with the creation of a handful of online comic projects, their grungy yet elegant artstyle felt right for what we were trying to achieve, along with their admirable approach to more mature subjects.

The project itself has been in the works for the past 3 years, and -- at the time of writing this post, we're a bit over 10 months until we drop the full release! For now, we've scheduled a teaser to drop here tomorrow at 9AM, so if you like the aforementioned subjects from the first paragraph, you may like what we have to show you!
