Royal Advisor Qwill and Terry the Professional prepare to tell all about Vesperion – the true name of the now former leader of the Eight, previously called "One" – and how a tragic turn of events turned what should've been a life of artistic discovery and even companionship into a life of servitude to Queen Genesix, to the point of Vesperion even accepting the Queen as his "mother." This new knowledge will play a vital role in how both Katy Richardson and Ted Sanders can mount an effective strategy to possibly win back Castle Artilouix from the wicked queen and start working on how to defeat her, while Jason Deroga and the Lil’ Hero Artists report their findings to the Elder Daikonru with Jax and Sneakers. Unbeknownst to our heroes, though, there is also the threat of another enemy lurking in the shadows who may just be deadlier than even the Queen… and now he’s ready to strike. The stakes reach a fever pitch as Volume 3 draws to a close!

After taking down a Genesix-enhanced Shadow Legionnaire in a facsimile version of the city of Unitopia, Sneakers, Jax T. Fox, and the Lil' Hero Artists go to investigate Team U-Force Delta's headquarters -- a tip from the defeated Legionnaire suggests that the Genesix used a portal to invade the realm, which could provide more answers to the heroes. However, upon reaching the headquarters, our heroes not only discover the building to be abandoned, but that along with the portal, they meet another new face just as confused to see them as they see him! Things just got a whole lot weirder! Meanwhile, as Katy and Ted feel the emotional and physical weight of all that's happened, Qwill and Terry explain the history behind their main enemy and where Terry fits into the puzzle. It all leads to an upcoming revelation about Vesperion and his attachment to Queen Genesix which stands to bring to the fore the true nature of her cruelty...

Picking up where the Prologue left off, the Lil' Hero Artists and Jax use the portal provided by Teddy Sanders and soon find themselves in what appears to be a deserted city lacking in literal liveliness -- all of the buildings are composed of black lines and halftone shades, like a black-and-white comic or manga volume! It is there that they come across who appears to be the only denizen of the realm -- none other than Sneakers Squirrel of Team U-Force! When he sees our heroes for the first time, only craziness can ensue... and that's to say nothing of the fact that the Genesix are also lurking about! (Note: Sneakers' appearance in "Curse of Creation" is not canon to his native series -- his role in "Curse of Creation" is unique to this story arc alone and is not related to the "Sneakers' U-Force" comic series.)

Katy Richardson and Teddy Sanders just won a major battle. But upon returning to the elder Daikonru's hidden laboratory to inform him of Queen Genesix's cryptic warning of Planet Artilouix's subjugation, they notice their mentor in a state of despondence. Requesting to see Ticon Deroga so as to again reverse their innate ink abilities, Katy and Ted are mortified to hear that not only can Ticon not reverse their condition, Ticon himself has passed away into the afterlife. Meanwhile, on Earth, Jason and Co. were last seen preparing to make their way to Castle Artilouix. Thing is, Queen Genesix already rules from Castle Artilouix... would this even be a good idea? Soon enough, these heroes will learn the truth... and their new adventure will begin.

After they get wind of another planned attack by the Shadow Legion, both girls ready themselves with their unique abilities, with Marie's pyrokinesis and Wanda's... wait, what kind of powers, if any, does the new girl have? And it also seems that in the midst of all of this, Marie's deep feelings for Sneakers plead for an outlet somehow...
