About

Studio Deathcat is Omi (artist and writer) and Squiggs (writer, director) Inspired by artists such as Hirano Kouta (Hellsing, Drifters) and Hayashida Q (Dorohedoro, Dai Dark) Our stories follow the themes of gruesome horror, mystery, death and decay. Often tinged with a hint of humorous cruelty, we love to create works which don't shy away from exploring the darkness.

Hello!
Sorry for the late upload to GC this month. I ran into an ongoing issue with uploading pages on the website where it appears to only load a portion of the files selected. I'm not sure if this is due to my browser, the website, or both! Either way it should be up now.
Thanks for reading.

I forget that sometimes, there are people who don't keep up with my twitter (@fancyrook) where I normally post updates on schedules, happenings, and so on.
So for readers that don't, a heads up- the publishing date will be pushed back to mid November 15th.

There were plans for it to be sooner, however unforseen circumstances regarding my health forced me to scale it back to this original date. Chapter 25 needs a lot of attention and it just so happens to line up well with some other plans I made for the end of the year.

From about mid November through December I'll be working on something new that will be posted January 1st, and taking any extra time I need to catch up and do some other work (editing, extra illustrations, omake etc)
A slight preview of Chapter 25 will be coming in a couple of days, and posted to twitter.

That's all I have for now, thanks for reading!<br>

An Omake: 9 years in the O-Making!

Free

Yet another milestone passed! I created these characters in 2014, then they showed up in an original omake for webtoon in 2017, and then they finally showed up for real in 2024! Wait, isn't that more like 10 years? Or is it almost 10 years? Anyway, it's been too long, but I can't believe i'm finally here! And she's a part of the story now? Isn't that mind blowing? Isn't that amazing? I've been trying to create this thing for a third of my life now. Could the dream continue? How do I do this every day? My back hurts!!
